The Faculty of Health Science offers the Master of Clinical Science and the Doctor of Philosophy(PhD). These are programs undertaken by research alone.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

The Doctor of Philosophy is a research program for which a thesis is presented embodying the results of original investigation. The thesis and any other material submitted, is assessed by examiners external to the University and must display original and critical thought, be a significant contribution to knowledge and relate the research topic to the broader framework of the discipline within which it falls. This program is usually completed in 3 years.

We highly encourage students undertaking MCsc and PhD who have research interest in the areas represented in the Department of Clinical Nursing programs of research.

The PhD is a university degree and as such is administered centrally by the Adelaide Graduate Centre http://www.adelaide.edu.au/graduatecentre/
